By suburban railway (S-Bahn):

You can reach the Federal Patent Court from Munich Central Station (Hauptbahnhof) or Munich East Station (Ostbahnhof) by taking the S3 line in the direction of Deisenhofen/Holzkirchen. From Fasangarten station, it takes about 5 minutes to walk to the courthouse.

If you are arriving at the airport, take the S8 line in the direction of Herrsching/Weßling to Ostbahnhof and change there.

By underground (U-Bahn) and by bus:

If you are arriving at Central Station (Hauptbahnhof), take the U1 underground line in the direction of Mangfallplatz to St.-Quirin-Platz station. From there, take bus number 147/220 in the direction of Unterhaching to Minnewitstraße bus stop and continue on foot to the Federal Patent Court (about 5 minutes).

If you are arriving at Ostbahnhof station, take bus number 145 in the direction of Fasangarten to Cincinnatistraße bus stop and continue on foot to the Federal Patent Court (about 2 minutes).

By car:

Coming from the centre, the east or the north:

Drive out of the city centre along Balanstraße until you reach Fasangartenstraße, and then turn right. Then take the first exit at the roundabout onto Minnewitstraße. Drive to the end of the road and then turn right onto Cincinnatistraße.

Coming from the south or the west

Drive along the ring road Mittlerer Ring and then continue on the E54 (Tegernseer Landstraße). Leave the E54 at the Fasangarten exit and take the right-hand lane. Then immediately turn right again towards Zentrum (city centre) / Siedlung am Perlacher Forst. Just after the motorway underpass, turn right onto Cincinnatistraße in the direction of the Federal Patent Court.
